It was our first appointment and a student was there learning, which isn’t normally a problem, but the student came in instead of the doctor for the majority of the session so we didn’t get to really know the doctor. We were there for a routine appointment with no concerns (just needed vaccines) and our infant was inconsolable - so it irked us when the student spent the majority of time telling us the same things we already read on our intake forms, and asking us the same questions that we had already filled out on a form. She was also very focused on a tiny bit of dry skin on our infant’s back that was so unnoticeable that we had hardly noticed, calling it eczema. The doctor then told is she recommends switching detergents- which we had used infant laundry detergent in the past and back then he actually did have a rash on his chest, so that definitely isn’t the culprit. When I shared that, she acted like i was arguing and said “well that’s what we recommend to start for eczema”.
