Lake Grove Dental
Dr. Branen has a true passion for total health dentistry and has developed close relationships with both his patients and the team at Lake Grove Dental. He shares his love of dentistry with his wife, who is a skilled dental hygienist. They met in 1982 at a small local dance while Ruthanne, his wife, was attending Spokane Community College and Dr. Branen was an apprenticing jewelry designer.
In 1989, Dr. Branen and Ruthanne moved to Oregon, where she attended the OHSU School of Dentistry in Hygiene. At that time, Dr. Branen realized how much his detail-oriented and artistic skills in jewelry design were linked to dentistry, so he chose to pursue a dental career.
Ruthanne worked for many years with Dr. Gordon Wiltshire, the founding dentist of Lake Grove Dental. Since Dr. Wiltshire and Dr. Branen share the goal of improving people’s lives through compassionate, accessible, and painless dentistry, Dr. Branen assumed ownership of Lake Grove Dental when he retired. Since then, Dr. Branen has continued creating lasting relationships with patients, focusing care on overall wellness, and overall creating a comfortable, wellness based dental experience for all who step foot in Lake Grove Dental.

Dr. Branen is a great dentist. He has the most gentle touch of anyone who has ever worked on me and his Novocaine injections are not the least painful. He does great crown work if you should need it. I highly recommend him.
