Latasha Jone-Patterson, LCSW
I provide compassionate, relationship focused therapy for children and their families, with a strong emphasis on early childhood, attachment, and emotional healing. My practice is centered on helping children feel safe, understood, and supported at their core, while guiding caregivers in strengthening connection and confidence in their parenting.
I specialize in child-centered play therapy for young children and work closely with caregivers through parent consultation and parenting support. I have a particular interest in supporting families involved in foster care, kinship care, and child welfare systems, as well as caregivers raising children who are not biologically their own. I understand the unique challenges these families face and offer a nonjudgmental, collaborative space where strengths are honored and support is tailored to each family’s needs.
My approach is warm, culturally responsive, and grounded in respect. I believe families are the experts on themselves, and therapy works best when caregivers are active partners in the process.
I also work with older children, teens, and adults who are navigating stress, life transitions, grief, or the impact of trauma. Sessions are collaborative and focused on building practical tools, emotional understanding, and resilience.
Whether you are seeking support for your child, guidance as a caregiver, or a space to feel heard and understood, my goal is to provide a steady, caring presence and walk alongside you as you and your family move toward healing, connection, and growth.
