Hello! I'm Dr. Laura Baur, a psychiatrist who is passionate about providing evidence-based care and taking the time to thoroughly review and analyze the latest research in the field. I have a special interest in reproductive psychiatry, and I'm dedicated to ensuring that women of reproductive age receive the most appropriate and adequate treatment during this important time in their lives. In addition to my scientific approach, I also value the therapeutic relationship and believe in forging a strong alliance with my patients. I take a relational approach to psychotherapy, which explores interpersonal relationships, including the one between the therapist and the patient. I incorporate modern techniques such as dynamic, interpersonal, cognitive-behavioral, and dialectical behavioral therapies to tailor the treatment to your unique needs. My therapy office is a safe and supportive environment where you can receive the help you need and gain insights about yourself. I'm excited to meet you! Dr Baur was fantastic, made me feel heard and taken care of, Im looking forward to building a treatment plan with her. I reached out to her via text and she called me back right away, in a world where you get 2 mins with a doctor she really goes out of her way to make sure her patients are okay.
