Lawrenceville Family Practice was founded to provide care for the residents of our community and has served the Lawrenceville area with family primary care physicians since 1995. Thanks to our supportive patients, we have been able to grow our practice to three Physicians, one Nurse Practitioners and two Physician Assistant who serve over 95,000 patients in our community. Our caring staff can provide a lifetime of care for your entire family!

Upon arrival the first person I seen was the front office and both ladies were very courteous. It wasn’t a long wait time, the ladies in the back were very friendly and my Doctor did MOT have me waiting very long, Dr. Riper in very professional and a great listener. He is direct and gives honest answers and I didn’t feel rushed as some doctors are not taking the time to really hear all your concerns. I would highly recommend this practice and Dr. Riper.

The doctor listened to all my concerns and provided great feedback. Additionally, the doctor was more than willing to help my get the referral/treatment I needed.

Quick visit for my first annual with the doctor. Staff was all very friendly and professional.
The doctor listened to all of my concerns and had clear solutions for all of them, including several things that had been bothering me for a while.

The doctor was not just concerned with the lab tests and my physical exam but also the impact my mental has on my physical health. This was a bit unexpected based on my previous provider, but I really appreciated the approach.

Office is pretty okay, wouldn’t see this professional for an GYN annual again though. Didn’t listen to my concerns and when I asked for a results checkup told me I could check the results myself. You’re the medical professional though…?

The doctor care enough to call me after hours to explain to me about my ct scan results and blood works as well.
The doctor further recommended me to specialist right away which is above and beyond my expectations of service.

Dr. Van Riper was very thorough in going over my chart, asked me questions and never made me feel rushed. He explained my diagnosis, treatment, and follow up.

Dr. Van Riper (Dr. Dan) has an excellent bedside manner!
He thinks he knows what's going on with me but wants a few more diagnostics before starting a treatment that could make me feel worse. I appreciate that.
Especially since I'm getting older and have a few other medical situations going on. I need a primary who reads my chart and listens. Dr. Dan did that!

Dr. Daniel Van Riper gave me a good sense of confidence in his ability to make an accurate and helpful evaluation of my state of health. He listened to my concerns and identified the best approach to help. Since the annual physical lab works have not come back yet I am unable to assess what his follow up information will be like. This physician’s office has a helpful online portal for the published patient lab work and information related to my individual personal health , etc. I think the nurse who did the preliminary lab work and preparation for the Doctors check up was very good and through. The overall office environment was very nice and seemed to do a good job regarding the need for social distancing for patients and staff. I would rate this doctors office highly. Per their instruction I came 20 minutes ahead of schedule to check in. I called upon arrival and the staff said to wait in my car till the Doctor is ready. In total I wanted 35 minutes, so under the circumstances to take extra precautions of (Covid-19) I felt this was very reasonable.
I give this experience 2 thumbs up!

We recently moved to the area and I needed to establish a PCP. Dr. Van Riper was very nice and addressed all of my concerns. He asked several times if there was anything else I needed to discuss, so he definitely makes sure that you have time to express any concerns. I hate going to the doctor but this trip was not bad. Definitely found my new family practice doctor.
