My name is Leah and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I became a mental health professional to help individuals recognize their inner strengths and coping abilities. I am driven by a passion for guiding individuals toward healing, growth, and recovery. I use a mix of cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, strengths-based and person-centered approach during sessions. I utilize an evidence-based approach to therapy and have 4+ years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults, addressing a range of mental health challenges, including PTSD, depression, anxiety, ADHD, mood disorders, self-esteem issues, eating disorders, familial or relational conflicts, stress management, and crisis intervention, including safety planning.
