I’ve been with this dental office for about 5-6 years but I’ve only seen the dentist Huang twice and I’ve had over 7/8 appointments with them. I’m not sure if this is how other dental offices operate but it’s not like that in San Francisco.

I’ve met with Dr. Huang and two other dentists at Les Belles, and for a simple cleaning, they’re fine. However, for anything beyond that, I’ve been extremely disappointed. I recently moved to NYC and before that, my previous dentist always indicted I had great teeth. At Les Belles, I feel like I’m constantly being pushed to have additional services done (e.g., Invisalign). On top of that, additional services are extremely costly, even though my dental plan is supposed to cover most of those services (for example, I was charged out of pocket for fluoride treatment and sealants, which are supposed to be 100% covered by my insurance). I feel like I’m being squeezed to cough up more money every time I visit. I don’t plan on returning.

The dentist won’t do the cleaning for you. Someone else who is dentist assistant will do the cleaning and the dentist will come in for 30 second to check your teeth.
The office has no window and the smell inside is bad.

I booked my appointment on Zocdoc but when I got to the office I found that Dr. Huang was not there. There seemed to be a mix up with the scheduling of the office and Zocdoc. I thought I was going to be sent off from there but the Dentist Assistant was very kind to ask Dr. Bridget if she can squeeze me in her already busy schedule. Luckily Dr. Bridget agreed and I was taken care of shortly after. I appreciate that Dr. Bridget went out of her way to see me even though it was the day before the 4th of July weekend. The office is top notch with advanced technology which is very impressive. The staff are very kind and willing to help. My overall experience was excellent.

I'm not quite sure who is writing the glowing reviews for this dentist office. I've had a pretty terrible experience. I'll start with the positives before heading to the negatives. Pros: Virtually no wait time, very friendly receptionist, and the office was clean and nice. Cons: When getting my cavity filled, they missed the proper location for the Novocaine shot five times. That is five times that I was stuck with a needle before they finally found the location. I've gotten fillings before and this has NEVER happened to me. Also, I've had to take medicine for weeks after the procedure to combat the horrible tooth sensitivity I am still experiencing today. I had to go to another dentist to address these issues. On a less important note, the staff is dressed rather unprofessionally -- leggings and crop tops, etc. I think they should be able to dress however they like under a coat, and this didn't bother me personally, but it certainly made the office seem less professional.
