My insurance changed, and she didn't accept my new insurance. Overall, she was decent, but there were moments where I felt like she might not have been the best fit for me. I would explain myself, and there were times where I felt that I wasn't being heard or there was a misinterpretation of what I was saying, and then I had to offer a corrective statement. My expectations weren't completely met.

At first I wasn’t comfortable talking to a psychiatrist. But Shaniqua changed that for me and I am grateful I found her. She made it easy for me to open up. She is a very good listener. I like how she tells me what I need to hear and not what I want to hear. I love the bond that we have built, feel like I am talking to my best friend. The other thing I like about Shaniqua is that she is patient with me. I am always looking forward to our sessions

I am very unhappy that she was so quick to dismiss me as a patient, saying I need an inperson psychiatrist due to my situation, which is understandable BUT she would rather leave me completely without a psychiatrist rather than stay my psychiatrist over the phone, atleast until I found a new one. She seemed annoyed pretty much the whole time, especially when we mentioned there aren't any psychiatrists that would take my insurance other than her.

Shaniqua has truly been life-changing for me. She helped ease both my anxiety and ADHD, and for the first time in a very long time, I finally feel like myself again—calm, balanced, and able to live a more relaxed life. What stood out the most was how naturally she understood me. I didn’t have to over-explain; she just got me. It felt like we were perfectly in sync, which made the experience incredibly comforting and validating. Her support and intuition created a safe space where I could finally breathe and move forward with confidence.

She’s nice and all but when I tried to tell her that I sometimes age regress and it helps me she goes “ no I don’t think your regressing” first of all I use adult pacis and still play with toys in a regressed headspace she also provides medication and doesn’t do blood work to see how it’s doing , I can tell you this rn she’s not accepting at all like no im not about to deal with her anymore like I’m tired of not feeling welcome and since I’m nonbinary she misgenders me and uses the wrong pronouns

She was fantastic. I had been seeing a different provider for years, but my insurance changed and was no longer accepted there. I was nervous to reset with a new provider. However, within the first few minutes of my appointment those nerves melted away. I felt heard, and understood. I’ve seen innumerable psychiatric providers in my past, and never left an appointment feeling as wonderful as I did with Miss Wilson.
NP Wilson is amazing! She’s kind, a great listener, and made me feel truly heard and at ease. Her warmth and humor made the visit even better. Highly recommend!
