Dr Riaz was very easy to talk to and let you know about himself too to ease you in. Explains everything very well and very clearly so I knew what was going on. He was even able to keep up easily with my scatter brained approach to a conversation. Very knowledge and relatable in the things we talked about. First, I would highly recommend Zocdoc to a friend as it is a great way to see a doctor without spending a lot of time in traffic and away from your office. Also, there are evening appointments available. Dr. Burhan Riaz has been wonderful. He is a great communicator and I felt very comfortable sharing personal things with him. It is nice to have someone who cares how I am doing as I am a single mom of four and running a business. I don't have much time for self care and it really helps me knowing I have someone to talk to confidentially.

Hi! My experience was wonderful. As I am not super tech savy, Dr. Burhan Riaz's office was super helpful. He was very easy to talk to and very interested and thorough in getting to know me as a person. I felt very much at ease discussing personal events with him and feel like I landed in the right place after my previous doctor retired and the other's office disbanded. Finding the right fit for psychiatric care can be difficult and requires so many nuanced elements to be aligned that sometimes you have to settle for certain areas to be lacking when you find a Doctor that you can tell is truly dedicated to your best possible care. Not so with Dr. Riaz. From his easy and affable demeanor to his truly adept and insightful approach to helping you identify sometimes oblique correlations to your particular distress he is really the total package. Elevated care doesn't just start and stop with each appointment he and his front of house team are so quick to respond when any of the myriad issues that come up in between appointments occur that it truly feels like they are always in your corner and that continuing care is an ongoing conversation rather than the usual austere monthly recap revolving door of many NYC caregivers. 10/10 just a fantastic doctor & team.
