Back in 2018 I broke my right ankle in the Navy, I had to undergo surgery. To this day, I still have hardware left in my ankle. The few years following my departure from the navy I’ve always had issues with my ankle, no matter what I did it would always give me issues. For explain, should the weather get too cold, my ankle would get sore, if I walk for too long or be on my feet too long my ankle starts to get swollen. The issue with my ankle got so bad that I had to start putting my weight from one leg to the other. This would also give me issues, such as pain on my left leg now too. Other problems start to come up such as lower back pains. I discover the power of acupuncture after I read on it online. On my down time I would also work out a lot, such as cross fit. I read an article about how acupuncture helped with post work out. So I contacted the V.A and they set up a series of acupuncture sessions with Dr. Jared Lien. I have been going to Jared for almost a year now, and I have not had any of my problems since. I would go on long walks or runs and my ankle can handle it now, cold weathers have not been an issue since either. Dr. Lien is amazing; he has always made my sessions a welcoming part of my week. If you in the need of an acupuncturist then look no further, you will be in good hands with Dr. Lien.
