I was in search of a Christian counselor, and God send the perfect person for me. Immediately, Joyce Montgomery made me feel comfortable, heard and validated. I was overwhelmed being my husband’s (54 years of marriage) caregiver for the past five years and was feeling tired, unappreciated and resentful.
During my wonderful sessions with Joyce, I felt myself growing and reaching my goals of being a more loving and patient wife while also making sure to take care of myself. After eight months of therapy, I have the tools to “fly” on my own now.
Sometimes, I still struggle but realize how much support I have with my faith, family and friends. It’s also very reassuring that Joyce is just a phone call away if I need her help!

Courtney is fantastic. Super capable, knows her stuff and is ready to provide tools to help you get better. She listens really well and is engaged the whole time. She also helps you to understand the why of what is happening which really helps in recognizing issues as they arise, allowing you to apply the new tools she’s given you. Would highly recommend her.
