So cold and uncaring. Would literally cut me off in the middle of speaking and told me to "chill" because I was nervous and manic. If you're self-aware in your mental illness or have a firm grasp of yourself at all, I would avoid her because she's gonna spend nearly the entire session doubting you.

I can say I didn’t think I got the attention a patient should receive during their meeting given they were on their phone multiple times and would say “sorry what did you say?”, and when I mentioned my gender identity they had a shocked facial expression on their face despite it mentioning they work with lgbtq patients, I found that strange. I do feel like they described things very clearly and thoroughly to you and confirm that you understand why and what they’re giving you. The only other issue is that I think it is bizarre to question whether a patient was actually diagnosed or not by another doctor when it’s your first time meeting them and then basically telling them that they’re wrong.

I need a therapist and psychiatrist and I got too awesome Doctors Denise Goff and Amy Short. If anyone needs help definitely ask about them. You can do your appointments from home which is great because I don’t always have a car and I don’t have to worry about my anxiety going through the roof . I haven’t had one bad experience and I definitely recommend them to everyone. I’m so happy with how things are going. Great Place. !!!!

They are very helpful with making sure you are prepared for your first visit and are very friendly. They gave perfect directions from getting to the building and where they are inside the building. The waiting room also has a station for coloring and toys for kids.

This was my first appointment with Connie Shyu, and I really liked her! My last provider, Heidi Napolitano sadly left the practice, but she referred me to Connie because she thought Connie would be a good fit for me, and of course I trusted her recommendation. Connie is so friendly, very upbeat, and very easy to talk to! I never felt judged, she had a lot of great suggestions for me, and she was just overall very open and genuine.
