So cold and uncaring. Would literally cut me off in the middle of speaking and told me to "chill" because I was nervous and manic. If you're self-aware in your mental illness or have a firm grasp of yourself at all, I would avoid her because she's gonna spend nearly the entire session doubting you.

I can say I didn’t think I got the attention a patient should receive during their meeting given they were on their phone multiple times and would say “sorry what did you say?”, and when I mentioned my gender identity they had a shocked facial expression on their face despite it mentioning they work with lgbtq patients, I found that strange. I do feel like they described things very clearly and thoroughly to you and confirm that you understand why and what they’re giving you. The only other issue is that I think it is bizarre to question whether a patient was actually diagnosed or not by another doctor when it’s your first time meeting them and then basically telling them that they’re wrong.

This was my first experience with outpatient counseling and I was very nervous because I really wanted it to be a good fit. Cecelia was very kind and put my worry at ease right away. She was great about explaining the structure of our therapy sessions and what her expectations will be of me during sessions and between sessions. I am looking forward to our time together next week.
