Just John is the absolute best therapist you could ask for. He’s not going to tell you what to do. He’s going to make you work for the answer in the best way that aligns with your own values. He asks the tough questions that need to be asked. You can’t bullshit him, which is great because I have been able to bullshit most therapists. Don’t see him if you don’t actually want your problems solved from the inside out. You’ll break down, but it’s cool because he’s got the best tissues and keeps water bottles so you can rehydrate your face :).

The Dr. was late to the appointment and didn’t acknowledge or apologize. Tried to prescribe me a depression & ADD medication and when I said no, I didn’t want it, tried to tell me I needed it. I know myself, I’ve been on anti depressants before and don’t need them. Called a few weeks later to cancel my appointment and had someone in the office tell me I had the wrong number then forwarded me to a voicemail. I left my name, number, birthdate, and emailed asking to be taken off the schedule. Never heard back and turns out was never taken off the schedule. Not a fan.

Hannah was extremely kind and above all validating of my experiences, which I feel is *so* vital in a mental health professional. Beyond that, she was visually excited to hear that my new meds were working when I reported for my follow up appointment. I felt like she genuinely cared about me on a person level, beyond just a patient. It felt like she was actually rooting for me to get better, and that’s invaluable when dealing with sensitive issues. She was absolutely fantastic and cannot recommend her enough.
