Lifestream was founded in 2000 by Robert L. Lyles Jr. MD, PhD. It has since become the premier pain management clinic in the Baltimore-Washington D.C. metropolitan area. Since we opened our mission has been to be a center of excellence in pain management by always being on the cutting-edge of medicine to ensure we do everything possible to make our patients pain-free.
As we are the first to adopt result-proven procedures our doctors are the most experienced in a wide range of pain management treatments in our area.

Having seen several doctors for a severe spine injury, I never know what to expect but I am so pleased to have found Dr. Merritt. She genuinely seemed to care, listened to my concerns and also came up with a treatment plan for me. I highly recommend her. The wait was a bit longer than normal but she definitely took her time with me and to find a doctor that does that is worth a little extra waiting time.

She was very nice and treated me like a person not just a patient. We came up with a plan of action to deal with my pain and I look forward to seeing her next month, one of the best doctors I've ever seen. I recommend her to anyone that wants a doctor who actually cares.
