I've been to many other therapy clinics and so far had my best experience at Lion PT. Dr. David Jung is knowledgable, patient, and a great listener. He tries to build a good rapport with his patients and make them feel comfortable during the entire therapy session. The exercises, manual therapy, and home program are all very beneficial. The biggest difference is that this clinic offers individual sessions so the therapy plan is tailored to each patient. Dr. Jung pays close attention to the way the exercises are done and will make sure they are done correctly. I definitely recommend Lion PT!

David is hands down the best physical therapist I've seen. He's super compassionate and will really listen to your concerns and take them into account. I started going to David to treat injuries that I'd accumulated over the past few years (wrists, ankles, shoulder). He took into account every part of the picture and outlined a thorough plan for rehabilitation. He's really knowledgeable about targeted exercises that will strengthen specific parts of the body. He can explain in an intuitive way how these parts work together and why an imbalance can lead to impaired performance. For someone like me, being able to get answers to questions that might be annoying to the average practitioner is really motivating because it helps me understand why I'm doing what I'm doing. I can tell that my current exercises are really making a difference-- sometimes I even see results within a session! I would especially recommend David if you're a rock climber like me. He can really tailor your therapy to suit your climbing goals! He is an avid climber himself, so he really understands the kinds of stresses and strains that are associated with the sport. You can talk climbing jargon all day without having to translate :) I've definitely been a little reluctant to go to PT in the past. David has made me realize that PT can be such a game changer. If you're hesitant, I'd say you should totally give it a shot! I'm so glad I decided to try this out, and I'm excited to see even more improvement and healing in the coming weeks.

I was referred to Dr. Jung when I injured my knee while training for a marathon. Boy, I'm glad that I found his practice! Not only was he able to fully assess the cause of my injury, he identified other issues that could affect my ability to run. He tailored each of our sessions to help me recover and rebuild. He listened to me when I asked for additional directions and followed up with helpful videos that I could use while working out at home. If you need top notch physical therapy for an injury, or would like a little professional guidance to help with your sports technique, look no further . Dr. Jung will help you meet all of your goals; even ones you didn't think you could achieve.

I am so grateful to have found Dr. Jung. I have been following up with him since my ankle surgery and have had such an amazing experience. His compassion, knowledge and patience made me feel confident in his abilities and encouraged me to improve. These are important qualities that you unfortunately do not see in many providers today. He has a genuine interest in seeing you succeed and is super easy to talk to. I have received medical care in many different settings. Dr. Jung is one of a kind and is a reflection of what the ideal practitioner should be. I learned so much from him and recommend him to anyone looking to improve their physical health. A+++++++++

Professional, knowledgable and patient -- plus a super clean, organized facility. I was referred to Dr. Jung because I had a rock climbing injury, and was told he also climbs, and understands how to help. After talking to him a bit, I found out he's done a lot more than climb! He really knows how to fix and prevent all injuries--with A LOT of insight into problems that are aggravated by sports. After one session I already felt so much better. Not only did he give exercises and help with problem areas, he also explained how they help in real world situations, so I can be aware of those as I move and get back to climbing. He takes his time to explain and show everything--and he is honest about how often/if you need to come for a follow up, which I really appreciate. Additional plus to Dr. Jung is his efficient use of technology! He recored me doing all my exercises, then edited them into videos I could reference later.

Definitely recommended. I'm a programmer and rock climber, and I had debilitating hand and forearm pain from overuse for over a year, had seen another PT for a few months, but only started seeing major improvements when I came here. The 1 on 1 sessions were very valuable to me for1 a couple of reasons. First, I got a good understanding of the mechanics of my injury so I would know how to treat it while I was away from PT. Additionally, the physical manipulation he did to relieve the strain on my forearms really worked, so that I felt noticeably less tightness in my forearms and hands the day after the sessions. Lastly, targeted exercises he gave me to carry out at home were highly effective. Within a few weeks, I saw enough improvement to be able to continue the exercises on my own. I'm very thankful for this place. I feel like very few other PTs give you both the personalized treatment and the tools to take the recovery process into your own hands as well as this one. Lastly, you can tell this guy really cares about helping his patients get better. Dr. Jung really is the best.

David is incredibly dedicated. He is very passionate about his work and it shows. He's extremely knowledgeable about all of the issues my body's been having and patient in explaining them. He's very flexible and will work on what is bothering you. I am a climber and have a SLAP tear in my right shoulder, and so he started me on targeted exercises involving my shoulder. I mentioned I had a half marathon coming up and had some knee pain, so he switched to treating my IT band syndrome. He also has a positive attitude and is easy to talk to. I've been extremely happy with the service and wouldn't hesitate to recommend David Jung.

My experience with Dr. Jung has been life changing. I started seeing him for a shoulder injury and he ended up helping with so much more. He has given me a sense of awareness that I never had for my body. He explained and developed a personal rehabilitation routine that was extremely easy to follow and practice and I feel even stronger than before the injury. David’s positive attitude and encouragement kept me engaged and excited to recover. He gave me a manual on how to properly use my body so I can feel confidant and avoid injury in the future!

I saw Dr. David for a shoulder injury from rock climbing. Dr. David is very professional and friendly. Super easy to talk to and always makes interesting conversation during the sessions. He is an expert at treating injuries from rock climbing. He diagnosed my injury and explained me what the injury was and what caused it. He also came up with a rehab plan that was tailored to me. Dr. David only sees one patient at a time and was able to work closely with me and make micro-adjustments to my body as I did the exercises. At the end of my treatment plan, he gave me a post-PT workouts to continue using. Even though he was out of network for me, his rates were reasonable. Dr. David's treatment plan made me stronger and helped me get back to rock climbing.

I think coming here was the best decision I’ve made in a long time. Although I’ve had very little successes with these similar treatments in the past, I was able to walk away from my first session with not only physical relief but a genuine sense of appreciation and trust for Dr. Jung. He is like no practitioner I’ve ever seen, I was blown away by the enormous amount of focus and attention he had for me. I was very impressed by his examination and detailed analysis of my condition as he had spent a lot time to fully understand my body. He was also very friendly and knowledgeable as he shared a lot of information that helped me understand everything relevant to my physical condition. My overall experience was excellent and I would strongly recommend this practice to patients who’ve been struggling to find a doctor that treats more than symptoms. this is the real deal and you won’t regret

I'm leaving this detailed review BOTH with mindset of being a patient and a surgeon for the wonderful services of Lion Physical Therapy. It's a bit long but well deserved. I've been suffering for nearly a year with multiple complex issues that are interrelated including debilitating costochondritis, rib dysfunction, pec minor syndrome/nerve impingement, shoulder dysfunction/glenohumeral rhythm dysfunction, as well as back muscle issues. I was seeing my original physical therapist for a few weeks who I've sent the vast majority of my patients to for many years. When he ended his partnership with his company and was transitioning between workplaces, I was discouraged as I was back to square one. Who was I going to find who could replace his incredible knowledge, bedside manner and techniques? After much research, I chose Dr. David and I wasn't disappointed. David has worked with me over the past few months starting from a point where I couldn't even walk half a block or take a shower for more than 2 minutes without being in unbelievable pain. Fast forward through the summer and the fall utilizing modalities such as Graston technique, strength training, endurace training, gymnastic rings, mobility sticks, etc (the list goes on and on) - I have been able to resume my activities of daily living including walking and getting back to work seeing patients and operating again. As a patient, I can say that he delivers at the highest level of patient satisfaction. He gives you a one on one session for 60 minutes without clock watching, personalizes your therapy including never making you perform run of the mill exercises a lot of other "assembly line" physical therapy practices that you can do on your own at home, and is always advancing you using your body's response as a guide. He's also an overall really down to earth, friendly guy with whom I can talk to about everything from pop culture (Marvel movies and Dungeons and Dragons folks) to rock climbing to the best food places! As a surgeon practicing for nearly 15 years, the highest compliment I can give a fellow health professional is to say that I will not hesitate to place Dr. David in my referral network and send him patients. I may not be 100% yet as I am certainly not pain free and still have a ways to go until I'm back to playing basketball, tennis, swimming and working out with no restrictions (although I shot some light hoops on my own last week pain free!). However with Dr. David being a part of my personal recovery team, I have no doubt that I will get there!

Andrew was great. He was attentive and carefully listened to all my health issues which came about in a whirlwind. He was able to give me more information on all the symptoms I described and then give me exercises on what I should do to work them out. We even figured out a new adaptation to an exercise to better rehab my ailments. Overall, great experience.
Dr. Andrew is a life saver. He accurately diagnosed my strained hip flexor, assured me that I would heal, and gave me instructions/exercises to do in order to help me towards recovery. I will definitely go back as I heal from this injury, and if I ever have another in the future.
