Melissa was amazing! She was very communicative prior to the appointment regarding my insurance and copay (which was great!) because there were no surprises. When it came to the acupuncture session, she was wonderful and I cannot recommend her more! I’ve had great acupuncture before and it was painless, with the exception of a couple of areas where my muscles were tight (this was 100% on me, not her).
After the session, I immediately noticed a difference and even my boyfriend noticed significantly less tension in my shoulders (which was a target point for me in this session). I am absolutely going to come back to see Melissa.
She was super friendly and nice and I can’t recommend her more!!

I'm so glad I came to Melissa for my chronic back pain. She's been incredibly attentive, intuitive and compassionate throughout all of my appointments. We're still working through what's going on but after one session she's already brought me more relief than any other approach I've tried. With my second session complete, I have more mobility and overall functionality, and I've been able to sleep again! I'm excited to continue working with her and couldn't recommend her enough. Melissa is a wonderful practitioner that got my diagnosis correct. Apparently it is very hard to diagnose. She is a meticulous person with excellent bedside manner. She cares deeply about getting it right, and I suspect she rarely ever fails. I don’t like acupuncturists or acupuncture. Every time I’ve gone before I’ve felt terrible for approximately a week. I don’t think anyone would feel terrible after they see her. She is very shrewd and gentle in how she handles her needles. I feel amazing today and I know I’m going to feel even better tomorrow. If she isn’t the most well booked acupuncturist in NYC it’s because people don’t know about her.

I've been seeing Melissa for over 5 years. She's amazing!! I credit her with easing various physical ailments, including a spinal condition that prevented from walking. I think everyone should have regular acupuncture, and Melissa goes above and beyond.
