A few weeks ago, on a Friday night, I developed a severe toothache and knew I needed root canal. I was panicked because I didn’t have a regular dentist. I have severe dental anxiety, which has caused me to avoid dental care and allowed problems to become much worse. I found Dr. Madrid on Zocdoc & quickly booked a Saturday appointment. I cannot express how grateful I am. Dr. Madrid immediately put me at ease. She is incredibly skilled, gentle, patient, attentive, and most importantly, completely nonjudgmental. I felt safe enough to be honest about the dental issues I had been avoiding because of fear and shame. She listened with compassion and helped me create a plan to finally address everything. The relief and gratitude I feel are difficult to put into words. If you have dental anxiety or have been avoiding the dentist, please make the appointment. Dr. Madrid is an incredible clinician who combines expertise with genuine empathy and patience. Thank you. Dr. Madrid!
