Long View Health
At Long View Health, we take a comprehensive approach to medical weight management—looking beyond the number on the scale to understand the biology, behaviors, and health factors that influence weight.
We help adults achieve and maintain a healthier weight while addressing the metabolic and cardiovascular health that matters for the long term. As part of weight treatment, we closely monitor conditions such as insulin resistance and prediabetes, cholesterol, blood pressure, and the metabolic changes that can accompany perimenopause and menopause, and we coordinate with your primary care provider or specialists when those conditions require care beyond weight management.
When appropriate, treatment may include FDA-approved medications for weight management, including GLP-1–based therapies. Medication is never the entire plan. We work with you on nutrition, physical activity, sleep, stress, and sustainable behavior change so that treatment supports both your immediate goals and your health for years to come.
Long View Health is led by a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with advanced training in health and wellness coaching, obesity medicine, lifestyle medicine, and cardiovascular risk reduction. This background informs a comprehensive approach to weight management that considers the metabolic and cardiovascular factors that both influence—and are influenced by—weight. Ongoing management of conditions outside of weight management remains with your primary care provider or specialists.
Visits are collaborative and individualized, with time to understand your health history, goals, challenges, and preferences.
Successful weight management should be about more than losing pounds. Our goal is to help you lose weight in a way that supports muscle and strength, improves metabolic and cardiovascular health, and gives you the tools to maintain your progress over the long term.
Long View Health offers convenient telehealth visits for patients in Maryland. Insurance and self-pay options are available.
