I had my first appointment with Dr. Jin. She was warm, kind, informative, respectful, attentive, and organized. Having over a decade of mental health issues to go through in one appointment is hard but we were able to do it thanks to the prior questionnaires that Dr. Jin requested and read thoroughly prior to our appointment. I gave a snapshot of my current psychiatric medication and how I got there and what my goals were. Dr. Jin gave her professional opinion and worked with me to figure out the next best course of action. Throughout the appointment, she would type important keynotes in the chat so I would have a reference to look back on when it came to dosage and medications. She is highly organized. By the end of our appointment, I felt comfortable with the next steps in regards to my mental health journey. I find Dr. Jin to be reputable and trustworthy. I look forward to working with her and finding a better balance within my mind.

Jin treats you as a person and not just as a patient. Meaning she doesn’t treat you as a ,”one size fits all”, very communicative and asks questions to help better understand you. She is the textbook definition of how a Psychiatrist should be, looking after your overall well-being and not making guesses. I don’t see myself going to anyone else any time soon!

I would not recommend this provider, he did not listen to a word I said. After I told him about the adverse effects I had on a SSRI he proceeded to prescribe a different SSRI and acted confused when I pushed back. A complete waste of 30 minutes.
