We believe that medication can be an important part of healing, but not the only part. Our goal is to help you feel informed and confident in your care, whether that includes medication, therapy referrals, lifestyle changes, or simply a safe space to explore what you’re going through.

What should I expect at my first appointment?
Your first visit typically lasts 45–60 minutes. During this time, your provider will review your medical and mental health history, discuss your symptoms and goals, and create a personalized treatment plan tailored to your needs.
How do medication refills work?
Medication refills are generally managed during follow-up visits. If you need a refill between appointments, please send a request through the patient portal or call the office at least 3 business days in advance.
What insurance plans do you accept?
We accept most major commercial insurance plans, including Aetna, Cigna, Blue Cross Blue Shield and more....
❗ Please note: Luna Bloom Psychiatry does not accept Medicare or Medicaid, even if those plans are paired with a commercial insurance carrier. Patients with Medicare or Medicaid coverage are considered self-pay at our practice.

She said she couldn’t do video call our first appointment because she wasn’t feeling well. We conducted a phone call. Then, our second appointment, I was contacted by the office saying she was having technical difficulties and could not do a video call again. I hadn’t been contacted 25 minutes after my appointment time, so I reached out and the office said she would need to reschedule. Not doing video call twice in a row and then cancelling after the appointment time is wildly unprofessional, especially considering the sensitive nature of this specialty.
