Welcome to LYS Acupuncture. I’m Yongseok Lee, a New York Licensed Acupuncturist and Korean Medicine Doctor serving patients in Flatiron, Manhattan. My clinical focus is pain and mobility care, including back pain, neck and shoulder pain, TMJ-related tension, headaches, sciatica, joint pain, sports-related injuries, and muscle tightness from long hours of sitting or repetitive movement. My approach combines Korean medicine training with a modern, assessment-based treatment style. During your visit, I take time to understand your symptoms, movement limitations, lifestyle, and treatment goals. When appropriate, I use acupuncture, dry needling-style techniques within the acupuncture scope, electroacupuncture, cupping, manual therapy, and Korean medicine principles to create a personalized care plan. I especially value objective progress. For musculoskeletal concerns, I often use pre- and post-treatment checks to help patients understand how their pain, range of motion, and functional movement are changing over time. I hold a Bachelor of Korean Medicine and a Master of Science in Preventive Korean Medicine from Daegu Haany University, as well as a Master’s in Translational Medicine from The City College of New York. I am board certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and speak both English and Korean. At LYS Acupuncture, my goal is to provide thoughtful, precise, and personalized care in a calm clinical environment.
