He remained on staff as a teaching dentist for 15 years. Dr. Polan became an Assistant Professor of Clinical Dentistry at SUNY Stony Brook, and continued in this capacity while teaching at LIJMC. He holds certificates in Implant and Cosmetic Dentistry and is highly trained in the care of well and medically compromised children. He has written and lectured nationwide, has served as Technology Editor for Dentistry Today magazine, and as the dental consultant for many radio shows. Dr. Polan had been recognized by the compendium, The Top Dentists in America, and is committed to the dental and medical health of his patients. He and his well-trained staff are compassionately and professionally dedicated to the needs of his patients. His office has much of the newest technology including A Cerec Computer that makes crowns and porcelain fillings in one visit with no temporaries.
