Dr. Chavez was late, and I never received a link to join the virtual visit—I had to call the office myself. A PA student began the appointment without any explanation, which felt unprofessional. When Dr. Chavez joined, he seemed rushed and spoke in a condescending tone. He repeatedly said, “We’ll have to discuss that next time,” instead of addressing my concerns. I felt more like a student he was lecturing than a patient. The visit felt like a checkbox for an annual exam rather than meaningful care. I left feeling unheard and dismissed.

Dr. Milton, his assistant, and the whole staff were amazing. It was my first medical appointment since I moved to Chicago, and I couldn't be happier about it. If you're looking for a friendly and detail-oriented doctor, you've found one.

This was my third visit to this practice. I requested a female practitioner who I’d seen before and was rebooked to see a male one instead. It did not seem like he was well informed on certain women’s health issues, and did not take interest in my medical history and the “why” behind it. The advice given was so generic and not at all evidence based I could’ve just done a google search and saved my time. He made sweeping assumptions about my lifestyle, diet, and social circle without asking any questions to learn about those things. Then he ended by promoting his weight loss clinic, which would be funded fully out of pocket. I do not need to be lectured- I needed specific, personalized, actionable advice to help manage my condition and health and I did not receive that here. I left my appointment feeling very unheard, frustrated, and disappointed, and will be seeking a new doctor who is female and more informed on women’s health issues.

Video call- I did not get seen by a doctor, by the nurse and they old me to go get motrin n Tylenol for my colds and water eyes oh n Flonase. Nothing that I haven't really done yet. Told me they were going to write me a note to excuse me from my shift and I'm still waiting

Booked an appointment with Dr Chavez but some other doctor saw instead. Doctor didn’t seems to have much experience at all(was more like an intern). Made notes of the health condition but no suggestions made on how to improve the condition. Doctor didn’t clearly communicate what tests are being ordered and kept changing the lab orders after initial visit. Lab work was done at the same doctors office when I asked if it’s covered by insurance no clear communication was give, they were clueless about everything.

The front desk staff was great, very friendly and helpful. I was seen almost immediately after I checked in. The nurse practitioner that was me was very nice and knowledgeable. I got the referral for a specialist I needed as well as a prescription refill I needed. The office was clean and well light. Additionally, it's in a great location for me personally.

Dr. Chavez was nice, although I was seen by one of his students. I waited for 30 minutes to be seen virtually and had to call twice in order to remind the office to send me a link to the appointment. The student was nice although she seemed confused and did not provide a treatment recommendation. She ended the call and Dr. Chavez called me on my phone 20 minutes later.

Went for initial consultation and to discuss some concerns with family history. Dr Kang was friendly, took my information, and explained what could be done. This included blood work and pre-screening.
Then Dr Chavez came in and very quickly explained some of this isn’t possible and if I had questions I could come back next time for explanation. Basically hurried in and out in less than a minute to tell me I couldn’t do anything further to be proactive about my family history.
Ended up getting blood drawn for a panel Dr Kang said wasn’t necessary since I just had it done in February. Pretty sure I’ll be charged for that unnecessary test.
Overall not a great experience.
