Dr. Chavez was late, and I never received a link to join the virtual visit—I had to call the office myself. A PA student began the appointment without any explanation, which felt unprofessional. When Dr. Chavez joined, he seemed rushed and spoke in a condescending tone. He repeatedly said, “We’ll have to discuss that next time,” instead of addressing my concerns. I felt more like a student he was lecturing than a patient. The visit felt like a checkbox for an annual exam rather than meaningful care. I left feeling unheard and dismissed.

I would not go back to this office. I saw two different people before I saw the doctor I booked the appointment with. One of them was a student and I was not made aware of this until the doctor came in to hear her diagnosis. I felt like neither of them were listening to what I was saying about my rash and they dismissed me numerous times. They prescribed me with a steroid cream and then did not send the prescription to my pharmacy until the next day when I called to remind them I needed it. I went to this location because I specifically needed a dermatologist but I will not be back.

I think it's unacceptable that no communication has gone out to me about the fact that this office has twice failed to do what was assured would happen. I was assured that my RX would be filled that same day. No one reached out to me or provided any updates when it was not. I called back 2 days later and was told by the front desk that the prescription would be filled and faxed as a hard copy, that day, which would have been fine. It was not. I called walgreens today and NOTHING has been submitted in my name. If this office is unable to provide the care it agreed to in visits, I should have been notified. At no point has anyone from this office reached out to communicate a thing to me. Now I have to find a new provider who is competent at providing basic medical care. Dr Chavez's office and staff have wasted half a week of my time.

Great experience. The building and all the rooms, including the restrooms, were very clean. All staff were friendly and approachable. I was seen first for vitals, then told to wait for another nurse for consult for my specific issues, which I was hoping to pursue a visit with a specialist for. When it came up that I did not have a PCP, the nurse asked if I would be interested in registering at this practice. She was helpful in talking through my problems and explaining what registering would look like. The NP, Karen Corona, came in later to discuss health plans, immediate treatment, blood work and my referral. Overall it was a painless experience that solved a number of problems at once for me. I felt that I was in good hands the entire time. A little bit of a wait time between vitals and consult, but it was like 20-30 minutes, and it's a doctor's office - that happens. Highly recommend and will be back.
