The staff were wonderful and so friendly. They were running a little behind on appointments, so there was a little bit of a wait, but they helped us look at glasses we knew we were going to need before even seeing the doctor, which saved time in the end. They also confirmed future appointments for the rest of the family later in the month. Dr. Cain was very friendly and efficient eith the appointment making sure we knew exactly what was happening and how things were looking for Olivia's eyes. We very much appreciate the thorough exam and kindness from Dr. Cain and the staff at Malbar Vision.

Dr. Cain was very friendly and attentive when I mentioned what I'd been noticing with my vision and asked a lot of questions(Not bad at all, to be clear) and was very clear with his explanation in things. I couldn't have asked for a better experience overall considering I didn't know much of what to expect going in for the first time for myself.

I had my first eye exam in years, but Dr. Leff and all the staff made it so easy. They were very forthcoming about all the processes, their purposes, and the costs so that I wasn’t left with any lingering questions upon my exit.

The appointment booking was easy. They had my insurance information when I arrived, so I did not even have to get my card out. Friendly gals in the front office and who got me started and also who helped me pic out frames. Dr was absolutely great! She listened to all of my concerns and gave me options based on that. Would highly recommend this eye doctor. I will def be back!

The whole staff was super nice. I have a lot of anxiety with doctors’ visits but they made me feel very at ease. Felt no pressure when choosing frames for my glasses and even received some great recommendations from the tech. Highly recommend!

It was a great and welcoming experience! From front desk staff to Dr. Bargell to the gentleman named Colby, who helped me choose my frames and lens options was the kind of experience all patients should have. It was an overall pleasant and calming experience.
Also, Tee, the assistant who did my intake was exceptional and incredible! She was very nice and thorough with explaining all my options and my insurance coverage with me. Taking that time to help me understand things that I wouldn’t have thought to ask is what also made this experience enjoyable.
I will say, it is a touch pricey but the quality of care and product seem to be worth the cost. So if comfort is a priority and your pockets don’t mind, I highly suggest Malbar Vision and their staff.

The office staff were super friendly and they were quick with getting things done. I had to have extra tests done due to my symptoms and they explained everything to me and told me about the upfront cost for the extra tests because insurance doesnt typically cover it before they did them so there was no surprise amount that I would owe at the end of my appointment! The doctor showed me the images and explained everything in detail. I had to leave before I could choose my frames due to another appointment and the doctor told the guy checking me out to hurry and to print my prescription and I could come back anytime to choose my frames without an appointment! I had a great experience and would definitely recommend Dr. Bargell and his staff at the 409 S. 78th St location in Omaha.

My experience with Malbar Vision was excellent - the staff is friendly and attentive as well as inclusive and welcoming. At my appointment I notified the waitstaff that I use a name that differs from my legal name, which they made a note of in my file and asked me for my pronouns so that they could make me comfortable during my appointment. The doctor was kind and explained all my different options and what my insurance company would cover. My appointment was quick but did not feel rushed. I will definitely be going back next year for my eye exam.

I really enjoyed my experience with Dr. Bargell and his team! Everyone was so friendly and knowledgeable. As someone who has gone to the same eye doctor for the past 20 years, I was very hesitant about my appointment but I was met with smiling faces and being seen early! My expectations were succeeded during my appointment and I look forward to seeing Dr. Bargell again during my yearly appointment. He has excellent bedside manner, is extremely friendly, and answered all of my questions without making me feel rushed during our appointment. I highly recommend him! He is so easy to talk to! Changing providers can be nerve-racking, but you can’t go wrong with Dr. Bargell and his team! He is definitely worth the ZocDoc hype!

My entire experience was very pleasant from beginning to end. I was welcomed immediately. Both of the men at the desk were occupied, but they still acknowledged me in a friendly way. The woman who fits patients with glasses checked me in and let me know they would be right with me. Everyone explained things very well and responded to my questions and concerns. The doctor is an awesome communicator, and he remembered me even though I have only seen him a few times over the last few years. He answered all of my questions and talked through all of my test results and showed me the images of my eyes. There was zero pressure to buy more expensive glasses than I needed. Dr. Bargell is a doctor I can trust with my eye health as I’m getting older. I love this clinic!

The first person who helped me was very friendly and made me feel welcome, I got to look at frames while I waited, maybe 5minutes. The next person who helped me with the preliminary procedures (air puff, retinal pics etc) explained things understandably when I had questions. I don't remember his name I'm sorry. The doctor was friendly and professional and also explained things well. The gentleman who helped me pick out frames was super nice (James Hurst). Other than the prescription being very expensive it was a pleasant experience. This is an insurance issue I'm sure. I got cheap glasses online last year and they were good but I think it's worth it to have personal assistance in deciding what type of lenses, frames, etc. I have been going to this location for years and will continue to go there.

I was looking for a new eye dr. as our vision insurance changed with a new job for my husband. This office was just what I was looking for....friendly, on time and a Dr. who did not rush.
