It was a hard sell for my 10 year old daughter to agree to start therapy in the first place. She really didn't want to talk with a stranger online (due to her anxiety) but after the first session with Alexis, she started to see therapy differently. She was comfortable with talking to Alexis and appreiciates the coping strategies she learned during her therapy sessions.
When my daughter starts to feel anxious or overwhelmed, she will implement what she has learned from Alexis. At the end of our treatment, she was sad it was ending but glad that she has tools to move forward to deal with her emotions.
The other aspect of this program was convenience to do from home and availability especially since our schedule is impacted with a lot of activities. Overall, it was a very positive experience. It helped my daughter tremendously and I'm grateful for that!
