Hello, my name is Marcus McGill and I am a graduate of New York University and a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner based in New York City. I specialize in ADD/ADHD, Anxiety, and Depression. I perform psychiatric evaluations, diagnose psychiatric disorders, and prescribe & provide medication management to patients residing in New York via online telepsychiatry video. I believe it is imperative to integrate patient-centered and individualized care while implementing a combination of psychodynamic, interpersonal, and cognitive-behavioral approaches to therapy.
Kindly be informed that all new patients will be scheduled for a Psychiatric Intake appointment. They are also requested to access the patient portals of Therapynotes and Headway upon acknowledging the receipt of the welcome message sent to their registered email, in order to complete the necessary documentation.

I definitely recommend him, he’s been such a thoughtful soul & very professional. He truly cares & works with you to make the best choice/treatment for you. As well as really educating you on everything. Also very available & responsive. I haven’t had any problem with getting my prescription straight to pharm. & + He has made me feel comfortable and good about finally getting help and that means a lot to me. Becuz It’s so hard finding a good doc/np in psychiatry. He dosen’t cover my Insurance but his service, consideration and ‘Bedside manner has shown he’s worth it.

I have always been afraid of going to the doctor feeling as though I would be judged immediately . This was an outstanding appointment and all the positive reviews are true! I was very anxious prior to the appointment, he was immediately reassuring and comforting . He explained everything clearly and worked with me to develop a plan that was comfortable for me. I can’t give him better reviews! I am so happy I found him!

Marcus genuinely was so kind and understanding. He doesn't force you to do anything you are not comfortable with. He just lets you talk and when you are struggling, he guides you back. I only had one meeting with him, but he has genuinely done more in one meeting, then most people (including professionals) have done for me. My main concern was ADHD, but he also was helping me with my anxiety and depression. He makes you feel heard and validated. 10/10 would recommend to go to him. The feeling of safety and comfort he provides is unmatched by anyone else you could potentially go to.

I had a very pleasant experience with Dr. McGill. I made an appointment to be evaluated for adult ADD/ADHD and went through all my symptoms and concerns with Dr. McGill. He is very respectful and doesn't interrupt me when I voice my thoughts and also does not push me to try anything out of my comfort zone. He's also detailed oriented and went over everything with me upfront so my feelings and thoughts were validated. If you're looking for a psychiatrist who listens to you, definitely make an appt. with Marcus!

I've been seeing Marcus McGill for 2 years sporadically, on and off. His care has always been consistent. He's always been welcoming and respectful. When I feel the need to come back in to discuss my care options for my Depression, I'm always welcomed back. He's always been effective and kind. He listens to me. He always gives me more options, like new skills and tools to help me manage my Depression on my own. I don't want to be on medications right now. I feel respected. He's easy to talk too. I feel good when when I leave an appointment. If I had to rate him he'd get a 4.8.
