My approach to psychotherapy is collaborative, eclectic and evidence-based. Treatment is tailored to each client rather than manualized, based on each client’s strengths and needs, and takes place within a safe, reflective, and welcoming space. I work with adults who want more than mere symptom reduction and seek a deeper understanding of their emotional patterns, relationships, and life transitions, while, of courses, also addressing acute symptoms such as anxiety, depression, and stress. My work, thus, integrates evidence-based techniques with insight-oriented exploration, helping clients understand not only what is happening in their lives, but why. Sessions are typically 60 min. (as opposed to 45 or 50 min., although 45-min. sessions are also available upon request) and conducted via secure telehealth for New York residents. Intake sessions are 90 min. and typically $250. Follow-up sessions are 60 min. and typically $200. Sliding scale may be available if needed upon request. Superbills are also available upon request, although reimbursement cannot be guaranteed.
