Marina Health of California

At Marina Health of California, therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all—it’s responsive, intentional, and designed to meet you in motion. Whether you're navigating burnout, managing a chronic condition, preparing for surgery, or facing a major life transition, this is a space where you're seen clearly, held thoughtfully, and supported with strategy. What sets my practice apart is not just what I offer, but how I offer it. As a therapist, I bring a high level of presence and perception to our work—tuning in to what’s said and unsaid, to the energy in the room, to what your environment and body might be reflecting back to you. This allows me to meet you where you are and offer guidance that fits your reality, not someone else’s version of what healing should look like. Clients often tell me that I “just get it”—that even when they feel stuck or unsure how to explain something, I reflect it back in a way that feels true and grounding. That’s intentional. My approach is rooted in deep listening, pattern recognition, and an ability to mirror both your strengths and your blind spots so you can move forward with clarity. While I’m trained in evidence-based approaches like CBT, ACT, and motivational interviewing, therapy with me is not rigid. It’s adaptable, collaborative, and shaped by your real-time experience. I draw from these modalities—but I also work intuitively, allowing space for the emotional, physiological, relational, and logistical pieces of your story to inform our work. I believe in structure and strategy—but also in softness, humor, and rest. The goal isn’t perfection or constant productivity—it’s alignment, sustainability, and healing that lasts. My practice is especially well-suited for: Professionals, caregivers, and creatives who “have it together” on the outside but feel depleted underneath People facing medical procedures or navigating life with chronic conditions Adults going through relational or identity transitions (breakups, career shifts, empty nesting, fertility decisions, grief) Young adults (18–25) in the thick of firsts—first jobs, first breakups, first sense of being truly on your own—and unsure how to move forward Those who feel disconnected from themselves after a season of overdoing, overgiving, or simply surviving In each session, we’ll slow down the noise and tune into what’s actually working, what’s not, and what’s being asked of you now. You don’t have to show up with all the answers—you just have to show up. Together, we’ll sort through what’s real, what’s residue, and what’s ready to shift. I also specialize in working with healthcare providers, educators, and therapists who are navigating their own wellness while continuing to care for others. My background includes consulting and training on burnout prevention, patient-centered communication, and behavior change in medical settings, which informs my ability to support other professionals who are both helpers and humans. What you can expect from me: A calm, grounded presence that doesn’t force change but helps you see it when you’re ready A deep respect for your internal knowing—and tools to reconnect to it A space where we can make sense of complex emotions, roles, and relationships without judgment Clarity on what’s next and how to get there without burning yourself out Honest feedback, warm humor, and consistent support You don’t have to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Sometimes the moment for change comes when everything feels “fine”—but not aligned. When you’re ready to move from coping to thriving, I’m here to walk with you through that process. This is therapy for the person who’s always held space for others and is finally ready to hold some for themselves.
