My Chiropractic care is built upon establishing and maintaining a healthy, fully aligned foundation starting with your spine, which directly impacts your central nervous system. Your nervous system is the master control for all body functions from movement to the way you breathe. Creating a body in balance, both physically, nutritionally and mentally will help you sleep better, feel relaxed, younger and healthier! A body in balance allows for the free flow of the body’s innate intelligence to promote self-healing and to be free of pain and limitation. Think of it as if you were constructing a home. You want your foundation to be strong in order to support the wall, roof, floors, electrical/plumbing systems, etc. It’s the same with your health. Spinal misalignments affect your nervous system which can cause pain, disease and a system not functioning to its fullest capacity. Correcting misalignments with a precise and personalized plan of care can support you in your healthiest natural state. Nutrition is paramount in helping build this same foundation! Going to the Chiropractor may be a new experience for you. Maybe you’ve heard through a friend or have done some research. It’s possible that you are just fed up with living in pain and it’s time to do something about it. In either case, your 1st visit with me will really be about getting to know you and discussing your health history, current condition and goals. Your 1st treatment usually lasts about an hour to include necessary tests to determine and address the cause of your discomfort. I also do well-patient evaluations. Many people may not experience symptoms but a complete and thorough examination may reveal “hidden” conditions that require intervention BEFORE the symptoms occur. I have had additional years of education and training in Functional Neurology and Applied Kinesiology – excellent for use in getting to the root cause of disease and dysfunction. What does that mean?
