I recently visited Marlboro Medical Group and had a truly outstanding experience. The entire team was professional, kind, and incredibly efficient. From the moment I checked in, the administrative staff was welcoming and handled everything quickly. My physician, Dr. Aarefa Shakir, MD, was excellent—she were thorough, attentive, and took the time to listen to all my concerns without making me feel rushed. It's rare to find an office that combines such high-quality medical care with such a positive patient experience. I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for great care! Vladimir
The clinic was running on time. The doctor asked good questions about my overall goals and reasons for (finally!) seeing a primary care doctor and not just specialists. Her approach was preventative with an interest in getting to the root cause of issues and not just offering a medication or a quick fix. Bonus: the phlebotomist drew blood without pain and on his first attempt!

This was my first visit, so I arrived a 1/2 hour before my scheduled appointment time. As soon as I arrived I was able to check in. I only had to wait about 5 mins before a PA called me back to go through the initial procedures (general health stats, questions about medical history, etc.). Since I was quite early for my appointment, I did have to wait a bit for Dr. Shakir to finish up with another patient, which was totally understandable. Dr. Shakir was very thorough, listened to all of my questions/concerns, and provided clear feedback. Everyone I encountered, from the receptionist, PA, EKG tech, phlebotomist, and Dr. Shakir were friendly and personable. The office itself appeared to be fairly new and well maintained, too. Highly recommend!

By far the best experience I’ve had with a doctor. I left without any questions about the “next steps” concerning my health. Dr. Shakir was very communicative, clear, friendly, and very helpful. Awesome experience ???? . Doctor was amazing. Dr Aarefa Shakir did thorough check up for my annual visit and she is very informative and knowledgeable in her field. She is by far the best primary care doctor I have got . She takes her time answering all of my questions and never makes me feel like she is in a rush.
