Our main goal is to keep your child healthy. And part of the way we do that is by making going to the doctor enjoyable for kids and their parents.
Your kids may be so immersed in playing games or watching their favorite videos that they don’t want to go. But that’s just the kind of medical office we want to be.
You see, Dr. Sarmiento has eleven children of her own, so she knows how nervous kids can be about seeing the doctor. That’s why she does everything possible to make the experience comfortable, even fun.
Our office was designed to keep kids happy, from toys and videos in the waiting room, to the snacks and the cartoons on TV in the exam room, to the treats they get when it’s time to go. And with our friendly staff your child will feel at ease.
But keeping your child entertained is only part of our goal. We want to make him or her feel good about seeing the doctor. So Dr. Sarmiento treats each patient as a special friend. She talks to them on their level, relating to them as she relates to her own children.

The only complaint I have is the paperwork needed to be completed by hand and I am responsible for contacting the other doctor’s from CHOC for the doctor to coordinate care with.

Patty was very friendly and I loved that she asked me a few personal questions, she wasn’t just a robot trying to check boxes. Dr Sarmiento was very thorough and kind. I appreciate that she dug a little deeper and I didn’t have to ask too many questions to get to the bottom of things, this is a Dr who does her job well.

I was looking for a new pediatrician for my 2 year old toddler and I found Dr. Marta Sarmiento. Let me just say that I am very satisfied with how well she communicates and actually listens to my concerns. Doctor Sarmiento has good bedside manner and I can tell that she genuinely is passionate about her job/patients. I also want to mention that Patty at the front is very nice and is on top of everything. Overall, great experience and I would recommend!

Great first time experience with Nurse Patty and Dr.Sarmiento. We were seen quickly and the Dr. Has a wonderful bedside manner. She made me feel heard and understood in regards to my worries about my newborn. I look forward to going back and transitioning my toddler over to her practice as well.

Our visit with Dr. Marta Sarmiento went very good. We struggled to find a good pediatrician for 2 years for my 2 1/2 old son, and I think we found one! She answered all our questions with full detail which we appreciate. The staff was very friendly and not to mention they have a wooden bead maze and television in every room to keep your child entertained!

Staff is friendly & welcoming. Dr. S. is very personable, deeply cares for her patients & their well being. My 16 year old son feels very comfortable discussing his health & never hesitates to ask questions. She provides time we need to talk & we never feel rushed. Saturday appointments are a plus, allowing my son not to miss school!

Loved Dr. Sarmiento from our very first visit 15 years ago! She takes time to listen to and address all of our concerns. Her staff is awesome! The office is kid friendly, Disney Movies and wallpaper balloons and lollipops. All four of my children love to come in. We don't mind the wait because we know she gives all her patients the same attention she given us! Worth it!

My visits are ALWAYS pleasant. The office staff are professional & friendly. Dr. Sarmiento is friendly and extremely compassionate. She explains everything and has such a awesome connection with her patients. I can honestly say my son would'nt be alive if it wasnt for Dr. Sarmiento. She offers state of the art medicine and is so knowledgable in Pediactrics. She has more then once kept my son out of the hospital because of her plan of action for my son's chronic medical conditions.
