I got a toothache over Labor Day weekend and by Sunday was desperate to get an appointment asap. I found an early Tuesday appointment on Zocdoc and set it up. Within minutes of booking it, Annette from the office texted and confirmed that they would have nitrous available for me, which was a huge relief! She also clarified some insurance questions and made me aware of charges for the nitrous — all on a Sunday afternoon of a holiday weekend! Everyone at the office was very nice and the hygienist, Portia, was very efficient. Dr Armijo got to me quickly, listened to my concerns (I am dental phobic and he was not judgemental), gave me options, and was able to address my toothache immediately. He spoke to me intelligently but totally clearly, and knowing I was worried about the needles, he had another member of the staff who had more experience administer the shots. Overall, the experience was very positive for someone who avoids the dentist whenever possible due to past trauma.
