Mary Locklear Professional Counseling

Services that provided are as follows: individual therapy with depression, anxiety, and substance issues. I treat adolescents, and all adult populations. My style is didactic in that I use several clinical modalities. I use Psychotherapy Based, Cognitive Behavioral and Person-Centered modalities. Not all clients are the same because we are all individualist and unique. What may work for some might not work for you, and what will work for you will not work for some. I am trained predominately in Person-Centered thinking because I am a strong believer in working with what the client wants to work on and is willing to work on. As a therapist, I also am a strong believer in Motivational Interviewing in encouraging change and healing. I also use a ‘here and now’ approach or Gestalt style of interventions approaches. Headway.com will facilitate billing, assessment tools, medical records and appointment scheduling.

My first visit with Mary was great! I felt so comfortable that I shared things I never shared with my last therapist. Her aura is light and beautiful. My insurance covers therapy for free with a different company but I will 100% pay to see her again.
