My site represents M. Beisso Counseling LLC, a private counseling practice based in Maryland. I provide neurodivergent-affirming counseling with a focus on later-diagnosed Autistic adults, Adult Third Culture Kids, and members of the international community. My values center on collaboration, respect, and client choice: I believe clients are the experts on their own lives, and I support them with evidence-based strategies they can choose to use in ways that feel right for them. My services include individual counseling sessions via telehealth for adults in Maryland. My goal is to create a supportive, welcoming space where clients can reduce stress, anxiety, and depression while increasing confidence, well-being, and authenticity.

Mati is an effective, encouraging and caring therapist. She centers your goals, listens deeply, and draws out threads and themes across sessions to help you distill insights. She balances gentleness and probing really well - both in the subject matter and in her communication style. She builds trust and creates a safe space in every interaction, and I have genuinely felt supported even with all our sessions being virtual. One of the aspects I appreciate most about Mati is that she's always learning - through her own therapy, courses and, most importantly, seeking feedback from her clients. It's been really refreshing to see how she makes adjustments based on that feedback as well. If her style sounds aligned with what you're looking for, don't hesitate to reach out to Mati!
