MAVA Behavioral Health is a one-stop solution for your behavioral health care needs. Our mission is to provide the best treatment and health care possible, in a friendly and compassionate environment. We focus on getting you in to the doctor as quickly as possible, but we never rush care. Our friendly and respectful physicians and medical staff always take time to listen, explain and answer all of your questions. Our experience enables us to offer effective outpatient, individualized, psychological care. We treat several mental health disorders, and provide a neutral ground to individuals, families, and couples. We offer Tele-Psychiatry which enables our patients to be seen anywhere in Texas via live video with our Doctors and receive a full diagnosis and assessment from the comfort of their homes!

I had my first psychiatry appointment with Dr. Lokenauth today, and it was an excellent experience. She was compassionate, attentive, and truly took the time to understand my concerns. Her calm and professional approach made it easy to talk openly, and I felt heard and supported throughout the session. I left feeling confident about my treatment plan and very grateful to have found such a caring provider.

I recently had an appointment with Elizabeth Lokenauth and I am disturbed at the rudeness and lack of compassion she has. Someone working with those struggling with their mental health should be ashamed of themselves. As someone that has worked in behavioral health for over 7 years, I am horrified. I wouldn’t recommend her, and I definitely will not be returning to this practice.
I was in a lot of emotional turmoil before I started seeing Dr Lokenauth. I had been struggling to control my mental health and I was floundering in every aspect of my life. Now that Im on medication, things are getting substantially better. She has been a god send in so many ways.

I filled out all my paperwork and I waited on a camera on my phone in the car at a gas station and they never showed up and I called the office 45 minutes later and they said I didn't fill out the paperwork which is baloney cuz I got the screenshots of it they have my insurance card they have my driver's license unprofessional organization I'll never use it again

This was the most horrific experience I have had with an office to make an appointment. They never answered the phone, texted me unprofessionally, and hung up on me as soon as I got connected. Reduced to speak with me about insurance. Rescheduled me with Elizabeth for May 26th 2025?? Do not use this office to book an appointment.

Been on the same medicine for quite some time because that’s what works and she decided to give me a lower dose of the same medicine one month and then the next month she cut it in half with that same low low low so now I’m still having anxiety and she has totally screwed me up. She is basing her, giving me that medication in a low, low low-dose and not even half of it so now my anxiety is not controlled anymore. It was controlled with what I was taking in the amount I was taking. It was a perfect remedy for me or whatever you call it not remedy but it was controlled and now it is uncontrolled …?

I was really nervous since I have never seen a psychiatrist before, and I am actually extremely horrible communicating and my primary care doctor is a script and go type of person without listening to me at all… and I was extremely happy with my apt. She let me ramble on (making no sense I’m sure lol) and then we started from zero to diagnose my issues and treat them correctly… actually listened to me..
