I liked that she noticed an issue that I didn’t bring to her attention. She has a great bedside manner and establishes rapport quickly. The only negative was the registration process where we were asked about gender identity and pronouns. That was very unnecessary and highly offensive to me.

The doctor does not seem as if she truly cares about her patients and their concerns. She checked me out for 2 minutes in a condescending way. She did not offer to request labs instead she told me to go to my PCP for them to request labs. The whole visit felt rushed and said she was judging me for even coming. Will not be going back.

Affectionately referred to as Dr.B, she is first, kind. She was comforting. Most importantly, of course, she was super
knowledgeable. I was very discouraged about my symptoms and any kind of possible recovery, but after my visit, I am
confident that Dr.B will help me get to the bottom of it. I'm so glad to be referred to
her by my friend.

I did not have to wait long at all, and was actually brought back to an exam room before my appointment time.

I was in and out within 30 minutes. There was zero wait. She did a skin cancer screening, froze a few spots, laid out a plan for those areas, got me set up for my 3 month follow up and prescribed and explained meds all within 30 minutes. The entire staff remained professional, kind and thorough while being efficient. The front office staff said it helped I did all of the paperwork before I arrived.

I was seeking a new dermatologist as I moved recently. I have always been very proactive with annual skin screenings. It is really important to me to have a thorough exam. She barely looked at me (no checking of scalp, neck, feet, etc.).
She did prescribe me some cortisone cream for a chronic dermatitis issue that I knew about and it has helped.
I won't be going back to this doctor.

This was my 1st visit to May River Dermatology. I found Dr. Bonaccorsi and staff to be attentive, friendly and caring. I appreciated the fact that Dr. Bonaccorsi truly listened to the lengthy history of my specific problem and made note of my interactions with previous dermatologists. Dr. Bonaccorsi’s professional diagnosis differed from my thoughts on the ongoing (for 6-years) skin problem, yet she performed tests in order to assuage my concerns.

They informed me that they were running a little behind, so the wait was a bit longer than expected, but it was well worth it. They were so knowledgeable, friendly and compassionate, and made sure I was well-informed of all my options.
