3.) There is a $50 no-show and late cancellation fee for missed appointments, and appointments cancelled with less than 72 hour notice.
Also, please note: Dr. Mahmoud is in-network with select HMO plans. However, for your visit to
be covered, you must have Dr. Mahmoud listed as your Primary Care Physician (PCP) with your
insurance provider before your appointment. If this is not done, your appointment may need to
be rescheduled.

Controlled Substance Policy – MDtele
At MDtele, our focus is on preventive care, chronic disease management, and wellness. In alignment with current clinical guidelines and our commitment to safe and responsible prescribing:
We do not prescribe narcotic (opioid) pain medications or benzodiazepines (e.g., Xanax, Ativan, Norco, Valium).
This policy applies to all new and established patients, including those with a prior history of receiving such medications from other providers. If you require treatment involving controlled substances, we will refer you to a specialist trained in pain management, psychiatry, or addiction medicine, depending on your needs.
We believe in evidence-based approaches to managing chronic pain, anxiety, and related conditions. Alternatives such as physical therapy, non-opioid medications, behavioral therapy, and lifestyle interventions will be explored as appropriate.

Dr Mahmoud was fabulous! I fractured my femur and had to have a complete hip replacement, he did not only guide me getting through the pain, he encouraged me that I could bounce back and fully heal!
His guidance, positive energy, physical therapy and eating healthy put me on the road to recovery! I am very thankful that he’s compassionate towards his work and others!
I highly recommend Dr. Karim Mahmoud, he’s highly intelligent and focuses on natural health!

The office staff member (“financial advisor”) named Braylee was very rude. When I scheduled the appointment I was told they’d take my insurance, then after numerous attitude filled voicemails from this lady, I was made rudely aware that my insurance wasn’t accepted and demanded that i cancel my appointment. I spoke with a gentleman from the office side directly who said that he didn’t see why I was told that my insurance wasn’t accepted when it wouldn’t have let me make an appointment if that was the case. 10/10 don’t recommend!!!! no thanks keep the unprofessionalism and attitude!!! Awful for a doctors office personnel.
