Friendly staff and nurses. Was in and out with a chair side procedure in less than a hour.

I have been a patient of Dr Abramowitz for over 10 years. He takes his time, answers your questions and does not rush you. Doctors like him are hard to find these days. He is very knowledgeable and straightforward.

Dr. Abramowitz took the time to thoroughly discuss my symptoms and do some tests in the office. He provided me with a number of options and made me feel very comfortable with the option I chose.

Dr. Ambramowitz was very professional, kind and informative.
He explained in detail my condition and assured me that it was merely a cosmetic issue.

Because I have never had a doctor who saw me at or shortly after my appointment time I will not fault Dr Abramowitz. His failure to see me at the appointed time seems an industry standard. On the other hand he is knowledgeable, professional, and personable. And, he is always willing to spend whatever amount of time with me necessary to fully answer my questions. Presuming he does this with all his patients I can understand why he is not able to see me at the appointed time.

While Dr. Abramowitz is very nice the office staff has a lot to be desired. I had called in the morning to confirm the time of my appointment. When I got there I was advised my appointment was earlier. Fortunately Dr. Abramowitz waited for me to have the sonogram and to go over the results with me.

Dr. Abramovitz was smart, kind , patient and gave me the time to answer all of y questions thoroughly. i appreciated getting an apot. with such a highly qualified and well educated doctor at the last minute. in a follow-up appt. he was equally determined to give me the best appt. that he could offer, which was one in which the focus was on getting my questions answered and providing me with the right answers. thank you!

My visit very short, which is basically what I expected, since I didn't have to have an ultrasound this time.

Warm, energetic, and engaging. Thorough in gathering details necessary to find a solutions. Her suggestion was the first we received in the past 3 years after seeing multiple doctors. We look forward to working with Dr. Kiguche. Might I add that she even followed up personally to ensure that we were able to get scheduled for one of the necessary procedures. Very hopeful.

She's wonderful, as are the nurse and physician's assistant. What I didn't appreciate was the long waiting time with no explanation.

Dr. Misaki Kiguchi did not even move the cover to check my lower extremities during my office visit for the first time. she just gave me her opinion based on the ultrasound report. When a patient goes to a vascular Dr complaining of varicose pain, I believe it is any doctor's responsibility to do their physical exam. She didn't. I was under the impression that Dr kiguchi she just cared about the insurance coverages.
Even if my insurance based on her opinion would cover, I will not trust her to work on me

I am frankly disappointed with the medical profession in general after my experiences over the last year trying to figure out why I have bilateral swelling/bulging above my collar bone in my neck area that at times make feel dizzy. I bought my medical records from kaiser. Nurse practitioner takes my pulse, quickly scans my records-she is nice enough. Says I understand why you want to have this look at(the bulging is quite evident). She asks a few more questions and then says she will bring doctor in. He comes in looks at my neck and says, yes I see. Then they feel my pulse and say well, everything sounds clear. Don't hear real blockage. Doctor feels the bulges in my neck and says-this is not vascular. think this is tissue. But I say it comes and goes and my juglar bulges and head feels like pressured. This has been happening for over a year. ()NP says what is your concern? (Now if any of you reading this,,, saw my neck ,,,or if you had this on your neck..you would understand..not to mention what it looks like..but i digress...)..I said that my brother has early onset Alzheimers or vascular dementia --I am worried as I think this might be effecting blood flow to my brain,,,and it is also uncomfortable...... NP says does it effect your breathing? No...just makes me feel dizzy sometimes...NP says... based on what I heard in your veins their is no issue....Doctor looks at me and says...Well this is not vascular, you should see an Ear, Nose, Throat, Specialist-I say that is who sent me here. Your colleague Dr. Choi referred me, who said you were great. Oh.. Well, Sorry I can't help you. I am a specialist.
Maybe it is Limpoma. Good luck. Then they leave room.
That was the appointment I waited for 1 1/2 months... If you read his description on Medstar site-you think wow-he has done so much and surely he has seen it all and can figure this issue out...
My car mechanic is 10 times more helpful and worth the money. Where is the desire to help others or figure something out? As a note, I heard an entire conversation that I should not have heard in the next room while waiting for the doctor to see me. The walls are paper thin. What I heard in that appointment was also the same horrible bedside manner. And that person was dealing with an Aneurysm..I can't wait to see what I get charged for this visit when they send the bill.
Somewhere along the line, Dr, Woo must have cared and wanted to do right by his patients. But I think he has lost his way in terms of listening to the patient and troubleshooting. I guess I was stupid to think veins, arteries, and lymphs don't relate or contribute to bilateral swelling in my neck. Not sure where to go for help with this next. But I can tell you one thing, it won't be him or Washington MedStar.
July 11, 2019Mary A.Verified patient
After Dr. Woo introduced himself (my first visit), he evaluated my legs conditions. After explanations, he introduced me to his associate, Dr. Kiguchi, who handles the problems I am having with the veins in my lower legs.
I left the office with great relief after a complete assessment by her! I will see Dr. Kiguchi again at her Chevy Chase office, where I will receive an ultrasound.
I AM VERY PLEASED WITH MY TREATMENT FROM THESE TWO COMPETENT DOCTORS!!!
Jean H.Verified patient
I very deeply appreciate the time and manner in which Dr. Woo helped me today, and how he went out of his way to also have another surgeon with additional knowledge of my condition see me the during the same appointment. The advice and guidance was invaluable and he took the time to ensure that I fully understood his medical recommendations. Sincerely, Mike C.

I was referred to Dr. Woo for a second opinion which I told the person who came in before Dr. Woo. So when Dr. Woo came in, he said he didn't know my case and so in came the Doctor I had seen in the first place, so no second opinion. I am going with the first doctor and will not get another appointment with Dr. Woo.

Everyone was professional and welcoming from his office staff to his NP to Dr. Akbari himself. This was my first visit to this practice so I didn’t know what to expect. The exam went well and both providers explained what they were doing during the exam. And I look forward to my follow up appointment.

Everything with the doctor and his nurse practitioner and staff was great but for one thing & I think it was that Zoodoc screwed up - I had asked for a video appointment & Zoodoc confirmed it (twice) but the doctor's office policy is that first appointments must be in person and their direct confirmation was for in-person. I had to call the office several times to clarify this.

They took me in right away despite being late to my appointment by more than 30 minutes. I didn't wait too long for a doctor to see me. I was first visited by a resident. Shortly after, Dr. Akbari himself joined. Both doctors were very professional and attentive.
