The doctor was overbooked and the wait was extremely long. My appointment was at 11 am. I was advised to be there at 10:30 am. Wasn’t taken back until 11:50 am. No one came into the room until 12:20 pm. Saw a resident who did everything the doctor would do and told me everything looked good. Doctor Zarick came in at 12:50pm for 3 minutes then left. Waste of time!

I found Dr. Zarik on Zocdoc. The doctor’s information provided was accurate, current, and it was easy to schedule an appt online. Dr. Zarik was professional, pleasant to interact with, listened to my issues, and provided detail explanations for causes and possible treatments. The only hiccup was that Zocdoc didn’t notify the doctor’s admin staff until 2.5 hrs before my appt so there was no file prepared/ready for my visit which delayed my appointment by 45 min. It would be more effective if Zocdoc provided patient appt info at least 24-48 hours in advance to the doctors office so that the admin staff can properly prepare for patient visits. Other than that minor issue, my appt went very well. I’m overall pleased with the Zocdoc experience and the attending physician’s services.

Dr. Zarick was very professional, a clear communicator, and efficiently and effectively treated the issues on my foot during my visit. The office waiting area was clean and updated. The staff who check you in and confirm co-pays and follow-up appointments were friendly and efficient too.

Although Zocdoc repeatedly confirmed my appointment office did not have record of my appointment. Nevertheless the office was gracious and added me to the schedule with the doctor I had made the appointment with on Zocdoc

I would never book an appointment with Zocdoc ever again. I thought all was in order, got confirmation. Showed up 25 minutes prior to appointment- wrong floor given and then I find Dr. Zarick had no idea I had an appointment and after haggling with staff for 20 minutes and showing copy of email they talked with her and she agreed to see me, no thanks to Zocdoc. I knew something was fishy when the appointment did not show on Medstar portal. In good conscience, I could never recommend Zocdoc, a piece of crock!

The appt did not start off on a positive note. Despite receiving correspondence from office prior to my appt, when I arrived I was told I had.no appt. Front office staff on duty was not familiar with using Zocdoc and I waited over an hour for the issue to be resolved. The doc was informative and gave me several options regarding my foot problem.

Dr. Zarick was thoughtful, efficient and seems like a great doctor. Medstar as a whole feels very rushed, as so many doctor's offices do. It's so clear they have to book tons of appointments every day. Medstar as a whole is enormous and somewhat intimidating, but all the staff I interacted with went above and beyond to help me. I wish it was easier for doctors to spend a little longer with each patient.

FYI: There was no communication between ZocDoc and the actual physician’s office. Despite several “appointment reminders” from ZocDoc, there was no record of my appointment nor the extensive preregistration paperwork that I completed on ZocDoc. Grrrrr. Dr. Zarick’s office worked quickly and professionally to make sure that I was seen right away. I will communicate directly with Doctor’s offices from now on. NO MORE ZocDoc for me.

The wait was entirely too long. I was there over an hour. The only reason that I was finally seen was because I had another appointment crosstown. I saw the doc, but I did not get a lot of feedback as to how to treat my foot condition. The only thing that I got out of the visit were some orthodontics and a hospital bill ( along with my co-pay)
