Meena Rai Psychiatry

Many patients come to me after struggling to find the right diagnosis or treatment plan. They may have tried therapy or medication before without getting the clarity or improvement they were hoping for. I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and medication management for children, adolescents, and adults through secure telehealth. My background includes experience across high-acuity psychiatric, medical, and outpatient settings, including partial hospitalization, telepsychiatry, consultation-liaison psychiatry training, emergency care, critical care, and case management. This informs a structured, evidence-based approach to diagnostic clarification, risk assessment, and treatment planning for complex presentations. I commonly work with anxiety, ADHD, depression, trauma-related conditions, and mood disorders, and I also have experience working with serious mental illness and other high-acuity presentations, including psychosis-spectrum disorders, severe OCD, substance-induced psychiatric symptoms, and cases requiring careful monitoring and ongoing treatment planning. Care begins with a thorough assessment of symptoms, history, prior treatment response, and day-to-day functioning so we can make accurate, informed decisions. I use medication thoughtfully, monitor response closely, and make targeted adjustments over time to improve symptoms, stability, and overall functioning. Patients often appreciate that my approach is structured, direct, and not rushed. My goal is for you to leave with more clarity about what is going on, what your treatment options are, and what the next steps should be.
