** Please note, our office is located in Beverly Hills (not Los Angeles) ** Dr Gutierrez is accepting Gynecology patients only. She is NOT currently accepting new pregnant patients. Dr. Melissa Gutierrez is a board certified Obstetrician-Gynecologist. She is fellowship trained in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery and her specialty focus is laparoscopic and robotic surgery for female pelvic disorders, such as fibroids, endometriosis and ovarian cysts. She is also specialty certified in Menopausal/perimenopausal hormone therapy. Dr. Gutierrez received her medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine, then completed her residency training in Phoenix, AZ, followed by surgical fellowship training in Las Vegas, NV. After fellowship she took the role of Assistant Fellowship Director for Las Vegas Minimally Invasive Surgery, and then gained the title of Director of Robotic Surgery. Dr. Gutierrez is passionate about promoting women's health both in the US and abroad. She has gone on several medical mission trips, including Guatemala and Peru. She has been involved in numerous research studies, as well as in the education and training of medical students, residents and fellows. Dr. Gutierrez now has her own private practice in Beverly Hills where she continues her passion to help women of all ages from fertility to menopause. Her hospital affiliation is with Cedars-Sinai as well as La Peer Surgery Center where she performs patient surgeries. When she is not caring for her patients, Dr. Gutierrez enjoys outdoor activities, hiking with her dog, working out, yoga, and travel abroad. (Please note this practice implements a small administrative fee of $40 per visit. This fee helps cover administrative costs and ensures quality service)
