-i disliked this visit. i was rescheduled twice, without confirming if i was available at that time. i had to go into work late.
-i didn’t see the provider who i thought i was booking with.
-i was asked to send over my medical history/diagnoses from my previous psychiatrist, which i did. however, what they wanted was the original paperwork from 8 years ago diagnosing me, which i find both insulting and impractical to ask for.
-in the near decade i have been taking this medication, i am now being asked to do a urine test. i have never had to do this before in the 8 years i have been on this medication. i find it incredibly offensive and degrading that i am being asked to “prove” i am taking a medication that i require in order to go about my daily life by peeing in a cup. the fact that my previous clinic did not urine test makes this process feel arbitrary and bureaucratic.
-i felt judged by the person i spoke to for being on one of the medications i am on
