It was a great introductory session.
I am looking forward to our next session.
Hopefully we can unpack some root causes.

I did not feel supported at all in my recent session. Therapist was late, nodded off during our conversation, repeated questions and made remarks that felt dismissive. This did not meet a basic standard of professionalism. I felt worse after my session. Definitely won’t be returning.

This was the worst therapy experience I’ve ever had. Mr. Michael Arnold is not a good listener and made me feel ashamed. He didn’t seem to care about my feelings, and I actually felt worse after taking to him.

I have been to many doctors and therapists and been lucky to have had such fantastic experiences across the board. This was the most unprofessional experience I have ever had with a doctor. Dr. Arnold was incredibly rude and unprofessional.

I've recently begun sessions with Michael, my first experience with a therapist, and I felt at ease right from our initial meeting. He is exceptionally kind, compassionate, and non-judgmental, fostering a serene atmosphere where I feel comfortable sharing my thoughts and feelings—even if it’s just talking about my day. Michael's ability to listen without judgment, combined with his insightful feedback delivered through empathy and humor, is immensely valuable to me. His life experience is evident, and I deeply appreciate the guidance and perspective he offers to support my personal growth. After only a few sessions, I already feel significantly more relaxed, calm, and present. I'm grateful for the secure and supportive environment he creates during our sessions.

Too aggressive - to show off his experience; to drive the conversation based on his curiosity rather than my need; to offer the 'help' that he thinks I need but I don't (at least not prioritized)

Incredibly passionate about helping others and deeply committed to his work. I've been seeing Michael since January and am very fortunate to have him as a guide and friend.

Michael is absolutely amazing, I've been his patient for nearly two years and he's always been kind, thoughtful, and transparent. He'll never pass judgement towards you, but he'll always be compassionately honest and tell you what you need to hear.

Dr Arnold is truly one of a kind. He cares deeply about his patients and it shows at each and every visit. Whether you’re discussing something relatively big or small, Dr Arnold has infinite patience and is there to help. He is full of stories and life lessons that have been super helpful in my journey. I can’t recommend him enough.

A+ in every category! He just doesn’t listen and gives generic counseling, he tries to understand your plight. I’ve always been apprehensive about seeking therapy therefore, It took years to find a therapist that I can trust. Dr A comes Highly recommended, I couldn’t ask for a better professional to help along my journey.

I first connected with Michael during an unpleasant time in my life following my wrongful termination as a physician. I was looking for someone with more life experience than me, and I found that in Michael. He supported me in my decisions to get mentally better, always approaching our sessions with an open-mind and non-judgmental attitude. Michael consistently gives 100% of himself when I need someone to talk to, even during off hours.

Michael has seen all types of traumas, and as a result has loads of advice. He exudes calmness and confidence, which flows into his patients, and he is very inspiring.
I have enjoyed my sessions with him. He keeps it real and helps you get back on your feet when you're down. He also makes himself available for his patients outside of the office should they ever need his help.

Michael is an incredible therapist who truly listens and understands. His insights and advice have been life-changing for me. I always feel heard and supported during our sessions. I highly recommend him to anyone seeking genuine care and expertise.

I first met Michael during a very dark period of my life. I didn’t have any prior experience with formal therapy and I wasn’t sure that anyone would understand me, much less be able to help me. I was totally wrong. Michael’s open-minded, caring and non-judgmental approach to life and counseling is exactly what I needed. He met me where I was mentally and emotionally and helped me work through the difficulties I was facing. He was patient with me as I worked through my trust issues and encouraged me to take small steps that led to big progress. Michael taught me to lean into the pain and trust myself and the process. He continues to be one of my biggest supporters as I keep healing and growing. I recommend him 150%.

Incredibly kind, compassionate and empathetic listener. Actively participates in the conversation and gently guides with considerate questions. Somehow he’s created a space that feels safe for both my husband and myself. Quite impressed with what couples therapy with Dr. Michael has done for our relationship in just a handful of visits so far.

Initial consultation was very positive; clean and open communication on the approach to therapy and ability to pivot through topics and feelings dynamically but also with measured guidance.

Michael is the best! A professional with years of experience treating ptsd and trauma, our sessions and his calm demeanor changed my outlook on life. I found him when I was in a complicated transition and needed help getting through it. He was caring, available, and coordinated care with quality referrals for me and my partner (e.g, ketamine therapy, psychiatry, activity based therapies, etc). Can strongly recommend!

I have tried therapy for years after losing 2 of my children. After their death, I never thought I could become whole again. Sadly, I developed a chronic and unresolved grief state paralyzing me to the point I had stop living a full productive life. I had lost interest in everything. I was dead inside. I started therapy with Michael Arnold's seeing him once a week. His grief therapy uses specific skills that build confidence, optimism, trust and caring in a safe environment. I am now less depressed and looking forward to following positive small goals he helps me set weekly. Knowing that Michael himself is no stranger to pain in his own life, made me more comfortable to open up to him. Some people just understand suffering better than others. Knowing he truly gets me from his own experiences and not just from the books he has studied. I am on my way to a better me, healing and even smiling. I wake up hopeful and can better function. Michael Arnold has the wisdom to help people like me that was lost and depressed for years. I am very grateful to him.

I started therapy with Mr. Arnold to deal with the anguish and guilt I have carried with me for years after my loving, smart and successful son killed himself. I withdrew from the world, asking over and over what could have brought him to this act of total despair. I replayed our last conversation over and over again. I tried to see what could I have done to save him.
I became a loner, isolating myself, and not interested in the world
around me. We were so very close. Why couldn't have he
reached out to me before he took his life, was always running
through my thoughts. I had tried so many times counseling,
quitting because I could not find a therapist who could understand
this extreme pain. Michael is a specialist in this area and the most
trained therapist I could find to help me to cope and heal with the
loss of my son to suicide. He is teaching me "Healthy Ways to
Cope with Grief and Loss". Now I know, I will never forget the loss
I have experienced, but I will move through it and can heal these
deep emotional wounds.
He made me see that I have been changed by this loss,
deepened in a sense.
Please seek emotional help as soon as you can but with an
experienced therapist in dealing with suicide. Michael's
credentials speak for themselves. Working with him reassured me
that I made the right choice.
Michael has helped to change my life.

I have been depressed for the majority of my life. It became worst the day I found my
best friend, in our room, who had taken his life one week before our graduation from
Medical School.
I had avoided speaking about this tragedy. Recently I started to realize I was heading
down this road of self-destruction. I was having recurrent thoughts of wanting to hurt
myself. I had decided to reach out to Michael who was highly recommended by another
of his clients and a good friend of mine. His approach was perfect. He is intelligent,
compassionate, extremely patient with incredible focus. He is the only therapist I have
meet who had encouraged me to bring me back to the day my best friend killed
himself. He had asked me to tell him the entire story over and over, with every detail,
so tactfully that I even brought him a copy of the suicide note. I had never showed it to
anyone before. Reading it with him was part of telling my narrative and the beginning of
the healing process. Before therapy with Michael, I was depressed, emotionally
exhausted, close to a divorce, had survived cancer and two strokes. I was a mess!
The statistics on physician suicide are alarming. 300-400 doctors commit suicide every
year in the USA. I did not want to be another statistic.
I am a prominent doctor who had no time for myself, wife, family or friends. I am now
prioritizing better and balancing work and personal life. What good is to make so much
money, when I cannot be emotionally and physically healthy?
Michael made me aware of the irony of my commitment to help and heal others, when I
was drowning and slowly destroying myself?
Michael is trained to help with loss, grief and depression and went the extra mile to get
to the root of the issues that were preventing me from having a fulfilling life. I highly
recommend Michael without reservation.
