I was let down when the first doctor I booked with did not join the scheduled appointment. But was so grateful to find that Dr. Burger had an opening just a few hours later. She truly listened and let me feel like it was OK to be myself and we are now in route for a solution and I couldn’t be any more grateful. It was very much as one would expect, we connected via video conference, she asked some specific questions pertaining to my submitted information from my intake screening, to analize what needed treatment, my history of medications and the effects they had, to determine the proper diagnosis and treatments to prescribe. Overall, Dr. Burger was kind, having good bedside manner and professional yet concerned manner insuring that I would receive my medication prescription as soon as I could get to my pharmacist. I would recommend Dr. Burger as a knowledgeable and caring psychiatrist to handle any case. She also provided references to other specialists in the practice of mental wellness to cover all bases in my case.

This was one of the most amazing site psychiatric appointments I’ve ever had in my life. It was like she was reading inside my head to help me communicate. What was going on with me. Asked for a brief explanation of my situation. Gave me what sounded like a generalized questionnaire of yes and no or sometimes/always questions that were somewhat vague and subjective. Prescribed some medications I was iffy about. When I told her I was concerned about the side effects she told me all medications have side effects. It was very impersonal and felt rushed (granted I was a couple of minutes late). Made no effort to get to know me. If you know what's going on with you already and you just need someone to manage your medications, she will be great.
I didn't have to wait very long before I made the appointment. The professional was knowledgeable and helpful. I would highly recommend it!
