At Metropolitan Dental Care we take pride in creating a friendly, warm, and relaxed environment for your dental needs. Our staff is sensitive to the individual preferences and needs of our patients, many of whom have been patients for decades. We pride ourselves on providing state of the art dental care in a modern, conveniently located office near Bryant Park and Grand Central Station, at the border of zip codes 10016 and 10017 in midtown Manhattan. Our dentists are highly experienced in cosmetic, implant, and restorative dentistry and maintain credentials with extensive continuing education to stay abreast of the latest advances in dentistry. We passionately believe in the optimal synergy between artistry, beauty, health, and function. We look forward to taking care of your dental needs in our midtown Manhattan location soon. Updated COVID-19 Measures • You will need to have your nose and mouth covered to enter the lobby to our building and use the elevator. • Our office will communicate with you beforehand to ask some screening questions. You’ll beasked those same questions again when you are in the office. • We have hand sanitizer that we will ask you to use when you enter the office. You will also find some in the reception area and other places in the office for you to use as needed. • You may see that our waiting room will no longer offer magazines, pamphlets, and so forth,since those items are difficult to clean and disinfect. • Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients in the common areas and to allow CDC-regulated breaks for the air to be cleaned between patients. That might mean that you will be offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment. • We will do our best to allow greater time between patients to reduce waiting times for you, as well as to reduce the number of patients in the reception area at any one time. Please do not bring anyone additional to the appointment unless absolutely necessary. Our waiting room will be cleaned after each patient. • In addition to the screening questionnaire, we will take your temperature prior to the appointment. • Please wear your mask at all times unless you are in treatment. •In addition to our normal PPE (personal protective equipment), our dental providers will wear face shields and disposable gowns going forward. •We will have increased barrier protection at the front desk. •We will have medical-grade CDC-recommended additional air filtration units in every room of the office to constantly clean the air. These filters capture 99.97% of particles down to a size of 0.1 micron, removing any potential contagion that could be in the air.
