Dr. Parikh was very patient with my mother during her first televisit. The doctor went over all the symptoms and the steps that she wants to take to resolve the issue. For a first "video" visit, the doctor seemed very knowledgeable and caring. Hopefully it will continue and my mother's health issues are resolved.

I felt like Dr. Parikh was a bit dismissive of my concerns. It was my fault for seeking out an endocrinologist that does not specialize in reproductive endocrinology or Hashimoto’s thyroiditis because she seemed to be under the impression that nothing can be done to improve quality of life and she follows the medical model of “If it’s not completely destroyed, don’t try to fix it” as opposed to trying to help fix my thyroid issues and symptoms when they are less severe. Yes, she’s the doctor but as a patient, I can bring vital information to the table and not feeling heard is a big turn off.

Very knowledgeable Dr. asked a lot of questions about my visit and answered all of my questions without feeling rushed in anyway. Dr parikh has late appt during some weekdays that accommodate my schedule and that’s also a huge plus. Look forward to my next appt.

Dr. Parikh was great to me. One thing I took into consideration is she greeted me by introducing and shaking her hand . She asked me some questions and really took the time to answer any concerns I had. The 5 stars is for the great service with the doctor and receptionist. My only concern is the lady who drew my blood was not able to find my vein. Poked me 3 times in different spots which was super annoying . I had two on my wrist and one on my arm which were sorta painful as she kept inserting the needle to see if any blood would come out . Needless to say I loved the doctor .

Dr. Parikh was the first endo I have seen that was empathetic to my concerns. She addressed every single concern and spent over 30 minutes with me. She even made sure to explain exactly what my diagnosis meant, in case no one had before (she was right.) She is the best.

After having gone to two other endocrinologists in Bergen County, I was searching for a doctor who would spend the time and take the effort to better understand my symptoms and work with me. Dr Parikh was just the doctor I’ve been looking for. She sat down and had a discussion about my symptoms, took the time to explain the latest research and treatment pathway

She doesn’t seem to want to hear everything the patient has to say. I was 5 minutes late for my appointment because my GPS caused me to miss an exit and I had to go into NYC to turn around and come back. She told me: "If I had another patient after you, you would not have been seen today."
People don't go to doctors for a social visit. They go because they are ill and expect to get proper medical care.
