We are living in some very difficult times. It's hard to take it all in and find healthy ways to cope. My hope is that I'll be able to join you on your journey of healing by using therapeutic interventions and skill building. I will use a variety of therapeutic interventions to help you understand how negative thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are linked. I use CPT and EMDR to work specifically with those who struggle with complex trauma. I have been working with combat veterans for the last 8 years focusing on trauma work, substance abuse, relationship building and other needed skills. I am trained in EMDR, CPT, CBT, ME, DBT and currently attending trainings for PE and Gottman. There will be times in our lives or situations that happen within our life that we need help unraveling. Sometimes we need help coping and healing. We are not our experiences. It happened. Now how do we move forward in a healthy way. Life is meant to be lived and not just survived. We can come back from anything when the right tools are in place.
