When I arrived for my appointment that I confirmed no one was there and the office was closed. I called 3 times and no one answered the phone. I'm extremely disappointed considering I traveled all the way from Brooklyn. A completely waste of time.

I didn't see Dr. marwan kassim at all. Instead, I was seen by Dr. Jessica. She was gentle, friendly, and down to earth. I recommend her.

Was sees by a different doctor/optician.
The doctor was bit cold or not that friendly, but will give 4 for her service.
Was bit too quick to get the answers.
People with astigmatism and bifocals like me I guess will have trouble reading all the letters clearly or correctly with any lens, the doctors/opticians got to be patient and not act like they are fighting against time, and it was not that there were any patients waiting too.
Thought my insurance-coverage was bad, so I was getting a bad service.
Insurance wasn't accepted fully, and said they don't accept my insurance after the service and was made to pay a fee/copay, though zocdoc said my insurance will be accepted. And they billed the insurance with good amount for a nominal service. My insurance coverage doesn't have co-pay but they made me pay co-pay, Wasn't told upfront before the service, and they didn't lookup my benefits or coverage before service.

After my checkup. They let me try to on eyeglasses put a grade on it so that insurance will cover. Right after Cigna called me stating that they will not cover my eyeglasses due to the benefits being utilized before. Called the clinic to ask them to cancel the eyeglass transaction. Rep didn’t get back to me, still now they haven’t refund the money. Don’t go to this clinic.

Waited over an hour and half for the doctor to arrive, didn't receive my prescription from eye exam. Says my insurance is supposed to cover but they'll likely want you to pay out of pocket for lenses. Also God awful rotation of the same 4 songs while waiting.

The doctor said he would prescribe me eye drops but never did. I called the office twice to follow up, I even spoke to the receptionist. She said the doctor would call me back but that didn’t happen. I will be finding a more reliable eye doctor.

My name is Krystal R. On February 5, 2024 is my 1st time at Michael's Eye Care. The Place is simple, young, welcoming, easygoing. The doctor is honest, assertive, caring. So many different designs and colors for each set of eyeglasses. It's worth going to see what's what? I'm glad I went finally. I learned something new about me after leaving.

Incredibly thoughtful doctor and staff! The exam was quick and thorough. The doctor explained everything that was going on with my eyes and spoke with me about the best options. My appointment was close to closing time but I didn’t feel rushed at all and was encouraged to take my time as I went through the glasses.

Dr. Kassim was very kind and knowledgeable! The office was very convenient and was accommodating when I had questions about whether my insurance was accepted (it was). They had a good mix of high quality and stylish frames in a range of prices, and were mindful when I shared my budget with them. I will be going back!
