I work with adults and adolescents struggling with issues of fear, shame, anxiety, and depression around trauma, LGBTQIA issues, sexually nonconforming behaviors, relationship challenges, and life transitions. With more than 15 years of experience as a clinical social worker, I know how much courage it takes to ask for help. I work with you through open and direct dialogue to create a coactive partnership. Together, we achieve meaningful results as we define your objectives and obstacles and develop your plan for taking the first steps towards living a more exciting, fulfilling, and meaningful life. You deserve to feel accepted, capable and loved for who you are. Fear and shame aren’t your only options. Before working as a social worker, I spent more than 20 years in sales and marketing. I know firsthand how many messages in the white heteronormative patriarchy can evoke anxiety, depression, destructive and compulsive behaviors, and self-loathing. We live in a bigoted world. I have traveled the globe and have personal experience living as part of a disenfranchised group. This gives me a compassionate, non-judgmental perspective on non-traditional, committed relationships and lifestyles.
