After giving my diagnosis and prescription, didn’t follow up when pharmacy needed additional information, I call and text and I’m ignored. So now I can’t get my medication until he contacts the pharmacy

I cannot believe I finally found a Psychiatrist who actually sat down and listened to me; backstory and all. He takes his time and doesn’t push random medications on you. He does a thorough evaluation and examination to determine what suits you best. He made me feel like a human being again.

Considering I tried to have an appointment with someone else two hours before, and he discriminated me and didn’t listen to me and shut me down, and anytime I talked about my trauma with racism or anything. He didn’t acknowledge it, when I got my appointment with him later that night, it was such a relief to have someone actually listen to me and believe me, especially as a male and he diagnosed me properly, and already booked me another appointment. If it wasn’t for him believing me I’m not sure where I would be.

The nurse practitioner was very thorough. Also educated me on different medication’s. He made some adjustments and we’re going to follow up in two weeks. He really seems supportive and sensitive and sincere. ?
